Tri-coloured nun 'Lonchura malacca'

The Tri-coloured nun is a species of finch native to India and Sri Lanka.The Tricoloured Munia is a small bird which feeds mainly on small seeds. It inhabits wetland and grassland habitats. It may also be found in lowland forest but generally needs tropical or moist habitats.The species has become 'introduced' into Cuba, Australia, Jamaica, Japan, and many areas of South America.
