The Cathedral, Krakow, Poland

The Wawel Cathedral played an important role in the Polish history. Over the centuries the kings were crowned and buried here alongside their families and the most prominent citizens of the country. The cathedral has many chapels of which the most beautiful is the Zygmunt's with the golden cupola.
