Travel Barcelona Catalonia Spain Proofsheet

A Photo Gallery By Peter Currie

I flew to Barcelona for the first time from Gatwick UK . A friend had been there recently giving it much praise and for good reason. The local people are extremely friendly, there is much to see and do. The Boqueria Market is extraordinary. You can buy all manner of quality produce and the seafood cafes are great. The work in progress Sagrada Familia is a must see as is Gaudi Park Guell and the less advertised Picasso Museum which houses a lifetime of his work (photography prohibited) I love it.

Photo 12. Park Guell which overlooks Barcelona from the hills behind is a garden park with architecture created by Antoni Gaudi. A great deal to see of his work and good exercise walking from the entrance to the very top. Good to see many younger people enjoying the experience.
