Most visitors to Nepal begin and end their journey in Kathmandu, however few make it to the many scenic places around the Kathmandu Valley rim. These places include Balthali, Namobuddha, Dhulikhel, Nargakot and Shivapuri National Park. Besides national parks, there are monasteries, mountains, villages and the opportunity to see everyday life in rural Nepal.
