Images - from over 35 nations - of special moments, particularly in nature: perceptions of the fleeting, endangered, unique, without manipulation of the reality. Specific details to denote the whole in the natural or human-made; capturing colour, form, pattern and design, texture, light and shade, to create moods, evoke feelings, satisfy needs. Recording for posterity to preserve the historic, significant. Different places of worship images include 800+ from Manitoba,selection in travelling .

Photographer for 40+ years. Over 25 exhibitions. Member PSA. Board member Winnipeg South Photo Club. Member Centre for Photographic & Digital Arts. Former Prairie Zone Director, Canadian Association for Photographic Art. Former editor/board member Manitoba Camera Club, Canadian Artists Representation, and Folk Arts Council of Winnipeg. International awards in photography, slide essays, newsletter design. Published three books of poetry, one with own photos. Touring exhibition Manitoba churches.

  Other Interests

Travel: especially on byways, to out-of-the-way places, historic sites. Writing: poetry, photo-travel, nonfiction. Working on: photo book(s) on Manitoba's pioneer places of worship - sequel to 4-year touring exhibition "Testaments of Faith"; building stock collection. Interests: animal and human rights, environmental issues, conservation and wildlife, improving the human condition, historical preservation, art and architecture, volunteering, book collecting, crosswords and word games, cats.
